The Hurricane 9 is quite different from the other Hurricane rubbers because each color has a different unique sponge and, therefore, unique characteristics. The Hurricane 9 Green and Violet, sponge code 80#, have bigger pores and offer more bounce, similar to the Hurricane 8-80. Hardness 38
