Description Xiom CHROME XAXi
XIOM Chrome XAXi
The XIOM Chrome XAXi is a professional offensive blade from the new IACT series. The "i" denotes the "Inner" construction, while "AX" stands for the Axylium fiber used. This combination is designed for players who prioritize stability, control, and a "soft" feel without sacrificing power during decisive offensive phases.
Technical characteristics
Construction: 5 layers of wood + 2 layers of composite fiber (5+2 PLY).
Ply Type: "Inner" type (the composite material is placed directly above the center core).
Weight: Approximately 85g – 89g.
Thickness: Approximately 5.9 mm.
Speed category: OFF- / OFF.
Origin: Republic of Korea.
Structural features
Axylium Fiber (AX): A specialized polymer fiber characterized by an extremely high vibration damping coefficient. It provides the blade with exceptional stability and is more forgiving of minor technical errors.
Internal Structure: The fiber layer is placed deeper beneath the wood layers, causing the blade to behave like pure wood during passive play, while activating the energy of Axylium during high-impact shots.
Limba Outer Ply: Softer Limba wood on the surface ensures excellent ball grip and increased dwell time.
Design and protection
Aesthetics: Distinctive "Chrome" series design featuring bright, modern accents on the handle. High-end manufacturing standards ensure a flawless finish.
Control and Balance: The blade features excellent weight distribution, reducing hand fatigue during extended training sessions.
Shock Absorption: Due to the properties of Axylium, the blade effectively absorbs the force of the opponent's attack, making it highly efficient for blocking and counter-topspin play.
